A Little About Me

I was born and raised in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.  I am a mom to 2 sweet and funny girls.  Two years ago, my husband and I renovated the house I grew up in. When we kicked my parents out of the house (just kidding) they didn't move far, just to the house next door. It's heartwarming to see my kids running around the same yard I did when I was five, and be able to be so close, in geography and in heart, to their grandparents.

I worked in Special Education for 12 years, but in December of 2012 my husband and I decided I should become a stay at home mom.  Wow, was it a big adjustment!  I know I am fortunate and I love being at home.  I'm finding the time to work on new recipes, plan activities for the kids, DIY anything and everything in my house, and attempt to be crafty.  Did I say I am obsessed with organizing and reorganizing?  My hope is that my blog will be a little bit about all these things, and find someway to inspire others.
